About

Danny the Demented - Chief Editor and Movie Reviewer

Danny the Demented is a professional film critic, except not really. He has over 50 years worth of experience in critiquing movies, books and just life in general at only 30 years of age. The list of stars he has had the pleasure of interviewing includes Matt “I am sexy” Damon, George “I am sexier” Clooney, and Brad “I am the sexiest” Pitt. A true wordsmith, his writing consists of words after words after more words. While a large number of readers criticize the lack of structure, grace, and general coherency in his work, Danny nevertheless pays them no mind as he believes criticism is for the weak. He is also a compulsive liar and everything he says should be taken with a huge grain of salt, including the paragraph you just read.

This demented film critic learned how to read at Simon Fraser University from the age of 18. He then moved to Tokyo, where he learned how to think at Waseda University. Upon receiving a piece of paper that grants him the right to demand people referring to him as "Master Danny", he worked at a prominent investment bank spending time in both Tokyo and Hong Kong before becoming a professional film critic, only not so professional

Ruey of the Ruey Review - Reviewer of Random Things

Ruey of the Ruey Review is the man this blog is named after, obviously. This very opinionated man reviews random things in life; he relies on his heart and emotion more than anything else. The fact that he admits this, and the fact that he is not an actual journalist, makes him better than most professional journalists in Taiwan as he does the country less harm.

This social observer learned how to graduate from a Japanese university without having mastered the Japanese language at a university in Tokyo. He then worked at a prominent Wall Street firm in an office not located on Wall Street, or New York for that matter, before moving to the UK for a MPhil degree at an university located in a small town north of London. Currently he lazily updates this blog mostly with someone else's hard work.
